Samoa vs Tonga Rugby Game Last Night and Tragic News

 WALT:Tell about the rugby game

Hi I would like to write down that the Tonga vs Samoa game was on last night.  On the news the Samoan fans were starting a brawl with the Tongan fans. For some reason I hate it and I want it to stop because I am Tongan even though people think I'm Samoan because of my name but I am Tongan. What I found challenging was that this is happening and we are all islanders so we should not this. The next step is to try to do the right thing. Anyway,  enjoy the game (If you are going to watch it). My prediction was Tonga 25 Samoa 14

Kiwi Can Jam. By Ana

IALT:Reflect what I learned during our Kiwi Can Jam Practices.

Today and the last week of Term 3 was so cool because we just got put in to the Kiwi Can Jam Performance. The Kiwi Can Jam Performance is when you create something and then show it at the Performance Night. What Miss Lily created was a Dance and a song that was already made. The song was called Hold on, Change is coming and the song we are dancing to is by Chris brown and it is called Gimme and the other song is Im the one by Dj Khaled. How the routine goes is that  Me,Nesi and Losana are SInging the Hold on Song and then the others girls are gonna do a dance to I'm the one and then we are gonna combine and dance to the Gimme That. After we all went through the whole routine we had to do it more times so we could get use to is

What I found challenging was learning the song because I have never heard that song before. What I enjoyed was that we had funny time when we cake it.

I hope you like it Comment Feedback and Feedforward on what I need to work on.

Read one of the many ways Toma helps others...

IALT:Help others with commenting on other people's blogs.

Today I got to reply to one of my friends that commented on one of my blog post.
I feel happy for what I said back to my friend Alo because next time he blogs on other people's blogs he can remember what I said to him. What I found challenging was trying to pick the right words to help him with his commenting. What I didn't find challenging was telling him the positive things about what he did.

Hopefully you guys enjoyed reading my blog post. Feel free to leave a comment down below on what I need to work on next time or you can comment down below on what you found good about this blog post. Bye :)

Check out Helen's blogpost about KiwiSport this week!

WALT: combine different movements in our dance routine in a group.

Today I will be blogging about what we did for KiwiSport this week.
We had to practise in our groups and make up our own dance moves and try and make our dance longer than the other groups. It was a competition, in my group it was Helen (me), Metui and Alo. When it was our turn to show our performance I was nervous, but I participated and at the end of our performance our hip hop teacher Jazmine said that it was really good and that we made her dance as well. The topic was about freestyle.

What I enjoyed was that I got to learn a different dance move, also that I contributed in the performance and I got the hang of it. One thing I need to work on is to become more confident in showing my moves and sharing ideas with my peers. My negatives at KiwiSport was that there were people laughing at other students performance. I had a great time at Hip Hop class today and I hope we learn different dance moves next week. MANY THANKS.Image result for hip hop dances gifImage result for smurf dance gif hip hop😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Paying It Forward...

Have you ever showed Manaakitanga by helping someone across the road?
What about showing Whanaungatanga by helping someone pick up papers that dropped on the ground even though you're in a rush to get somewhere?
Have you ever been inspired by the caring acts of other people?
Well our class have been watching this video which was based on paying it forward. Everyone in this video was inspired by another person, then they inspired another person.
Everyone was helping each other.
Check out this video, and leave your thoughts in the comment section below😊

Check out this post from Matthew! - What am I grateful for?

WALT: To write down what we are grateful for

What Am I Grateful For?

Image result for Family

Choice #1
Statement: I am grateful for my family because I was able to be happy. But if I didn’t have a family I would die and be sad. But luckily God gave me a family because he wants me to be happy and he wants all of us to a family so we all can be happy. I am grateful for my mum, dad, brother, sister and baby sister. I am grateful for them because I love them.

Explanation: Why am I grateful for my family. I am grateful for my family because they help me stay happy, and I am grateful for my family because they help me stay alive. My explanation for my family is very good because when I am with my family I feel safe. And sometimes when I am not with my family I don’t feel safe. And that is why I am grateful for my family because they make me feel safe.

Example: For example when I am walking with my family I feel safe. And when I am at home with my family they make me happy. But when I am home myself. I feel left out like no one wants to talk to me. Because they sometimes go somewhere and I am at home myself doing something like watch tv. Or go watch movies on the netbook. So that is why I am grateful for my family because they make me happy.

Image result for education

Choice #2
Statement: Another thing that I am grateful for is education. Because if I did not know what additions was then I could've been dumb. But if I did not have an education then I would’ve done bad stuff and end up in jail. But I want a good education because I want to have a good job. But my education is not good but I am going to make it good.

Explanation: My explanation for education is going to be strong because my education is going to be good and I am gonna make it good. Because my education is low right now. But I am going to make it high. And I am going to make it high by  listening and doing good by doing my homework. I am going to make my education high by studying very hard when i am at home and practice the subjects when I am at home.

Example: For example when I go to college and my education is low I am going to start working hard so when I do a test I can get a good result. But if I don’t start working hard that means I will get a bad result and I don’t want a bad result. I want a good result so when I show my parents they can be proud of me because I have worked very hard to get a good result. And when I get a good result that might mean that my future will be good. But if it is a bad result and that might mean that you will have a bad future because you do not know anything.

Image result for Sports

Choice #3
Statement: And the last thing that I am grateful for the ability to play sport. Because I love sport and sport is the one thing that I do around here. Sports is the one that makes me energetic. Sports is the one that makes me happy to. Because when I run or play rugby that makes me happy because when I run with something like the ball. The ball is the one that makes me happy.

Explanation: My explanation for sports is that everytime I play I make my friends happy because when I play with them they share the ball. And the thing is that when I don’t share the ball they get angry because they want a turn to run with the ball. So that is why I share the ball because i want the game to be fair and humble. Because if it is not humble we all start to get into a fight. So when I play with my friends I start to play fair and start to be humble so we do not get into a fight.

Example: For example when I play and someone causes trouble I can tell them to cool down. And when I play with my friends and they are cooled down i can go tell them to say sorry to each other. Because sometimes when I play with them they sometimes get angry easily and i want the game to be humble because I don’t want to have any fights when we play. And when we play Basketball we sometimes get angry because when someone shoots on us everyone starts saying “ ohhhhhhhhh” and that is when everyone goes hard. But the thing is I should worry about myself when I play sports so I can make sure that I am safe and not hurt.

That is all I have for you today thank you for reading.

Matariki Tree Planting

On Tuesday 21st June we got to celebrate Matariki by planting some trees!
This happened at the Paddington Reserve.  The Kura Kaupapa and Mad Ave were able to partner with the council to begin this process which is a development on the Omaru and Enviro mahi they are doing.

The aim is to create enviro movements that everyone can collaborate into so that we create a cohesively aligned voice for the Ecology.
Take a look at what our Kia Manawanui syndicate experienced.
It was SO much fun!!! πŸŒΏ πŸ˜Š πŸŒ³

Congratulations Gary! What an achievement!

IALT: Write about my 600 blog post achievement.

It's been a long 3 and 1/2 years of being the proud owner of this blog. I first got my blog in 2014, when I was Year 5, now at the year of 2017, and past halfway through the year, I have reached the achievement of having 600 blog posts, all in total. Blogging for me has been one of the things I do best while year at Tamaki, I have always been told to blog to show proof of my finished work, and work that is at standard for my age. My first blog post was 'All about me' back in 2014, my latest blog post was my 'Music Reflection' Something that I have enjoyed the most while having my blog is getting both, feedback and feedforward, it helps me to improve my work and complete my work at the expected level, Level 4.
Image result for 600 blog posts
Growing up into the age of Maturity I looked up to Willie, the best blogger in the history of Tamaki Primary. Once he left our school at the age of 13 he already have 1,000 blog posts, his huge achievement made me want to be like him, meaning if I blog 400 blog posts in the next 2 terms I can be the second best blogger! If I were to reach 1,000 blog posts I would be mine blown because it is a really hard thing to do but if you put your mind and effort into it, you can achieve nothing, nothing in your way.

My blogging goal is to reach the maximum number of 1,000 and be recognized as one of the best bloggers in the history of Tamaki Primary. But I might not.

A challenge I found during my time blogging, is not reaching the expected level, but now that I am grown up I am ready to accept any challenge.

Feel free to leave a comment.
Many thanks :)
